Tell us about your business - what services do you provide and when did you start your business?

We are excited to be bringing the first F45 Training studio to Kingston, Ontario this November, 2020 right in downtown Kingston at 574 Princess St. F45 Training is a global fitness community specializing in innovative, high-intensity group workouts that are fast, fun, and results-driven. The 'F' stands for functioning training, a mix of cardio and HIIT style workouts geared towards everyday movement. '45' is the total amount of time of our sweat-dripping, heart-pumping workouts.

What sets your company apart? What's unique about your services?

F45 Training is not your average gym or group fitness studio. It is the fastest growing fitness company in the world and one of the largest global communities or like-minded people. F45 is specifically designed to provide a functional full-body workout while improving energy levels, metabolic rate, strength and endurance. The team mentality at F45 Training helps members transform their lifestyle physically and mentally while encouraging community growth and a no-ego attitude. Our program is one of the most time-efficient ways of training and our clients can burn up to 750 calories per 45-minute session! We offer a 7 Day Trial for those interested in trying out our classes. You can sign up here

Why did you choose to open your business in Kingston?

Kingston is a beautiful city. We love it's relaxed vibe and the people are so friendly and welcoming. We wanted to bring functional fitness to a brand new market because the ultimate goal with F45 Training is to make this sort of training style more accessible to more people. We are very grateful for the opportunity to be bringing this amazing brand to K-town and can't wait to get out into the community and meet more people and fellow business owners.

What is your favourite thing to do in Kingston?

So far, we've been loving walking around downtown Kingston and discovering all the local coffee shops, restaurants and small businesses. We've been able to meet some incredible people. My husband, Brent and I recently did a long walk through Queen's University's campus which is absolutely stunning and I'm sure this is something we'll do often. We're also big craft beer lovers so we're looking forward to visiting all the breweries around town!
